Prediction Guard, founded in January 2023 emerged as a response to the burgeoning need for secure tooling to integrate generative AI into enterprise applications.

The venture began with an Minimum Viable Product (MVP), which, after insightful feedback from early users, evolved into an enterprise GenAI platform that launched to enterprise customers in July 2023.

Since then, Prediction Guard has successfully onboarded customers in healthcare, manufacturing, defense, transportation, and other regulated industries.

The company continues to improve the product and contribute to the wider discussion around AI security and privacy by participating in committees organized by bodies like MLCommons and in conversations on the Practical AI podcast.

Daniel Whitenack

Daniel Whitenack (aka Data Dan) is a Ph.D. trained data scientist and founder of Prediction Guard. He has more than twelve years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models at scale, and he has built data teams at two startups and an international NGO with 4000+ staff. Daniel co-hosts the Practical AI podcast, has spoken at conferences around the world (QCon, ODSC, Applied Machine Learning Days, O’Reilly AI, GopherCon, KubeCon, and more), and occasionally teaches data science/analytics at Purdue University.

Katie Bowen

Katie Bowen is a strategic global revenue leader with deep expertise in the SaaS and differentiated services market, federal and commercial channels, and revenue operations. As Head of Go-To-Market at Prediction Guard, she leverages a proven track record of scaling high-performing organizations and implementing AI-driven growth and enablement strategies.

Previously, Katie served as the Senior Vice President of Global Revenue at Synack, where she led the revenue function and drove triple-digit conversion improvements. Her leadership experience also includes senior roles at VMware and Pivotal Software, where she contributed to and led cloud native software and services sales with Federal and Fortune 100 clients.

Katie’s unique perspective is shaped by her early career in the public sector, including serving as a Contracting Officer for the CIA as well as contributing to successful exits in the software development services space.
